The Body Guard – Brisbane Lyric Theatre Ended
The Body Guard Starring Australia’s own Paulini, Kip Gamblin and Prinnie Stevens – The Bodyguard is the hottest ticket in town this year!
Featuring a host of Houston hits, including “I Wanna Dance With Somebody”, “Greatest Love of All”, and, of course, “I Will Always Love You”, The Bodyguard first opened in London’s West End in 2012, and ran for almost two years. A 2015 UK tour followed, along with stints in Europe, leading up to a West End revival earlier this year. Tours in Korea, Italy, and the US are scheduled for later in 2016, with Australia top of the list for 2017.
Based on the Warner Bros. film written by the acclaimed, Oscar-nominated screenwriter Lawrence Kasdan (Raiders of the Lost Ark, The Big Chill, The Empire Strikes Back), with a book by Oscar-winner Alexander Dinelaris (Birdman), this extraordinary production of The Bodyguard is coming to Brisbane.
